About Us Background

We Build Lives.

One Child at a Time.

Life Builders Initiative exists because we believe potential should never be wasted due to circumstance. We work in communities where children face barriers and we remove them, one by one.

From the Founder's Desk
“Life Builders Initiative for Education and Societal Integration is a non-profit civil society organization... with the primary goal of improving the lives of the poor, vulnerable and internally displaced persons, regardless of their sex, age, religion and tribe.

The organization was established and registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission in 2014.

Life Builders Initiative (LBI) envisions a world where every child and young adult has access to quality education to fulfill their potentials.

Our mission is to change the pattern of education provision for under-served populations globally by engaging and partnering with relevant stakeholders to create more resilient and self-reliant communities.

What started as a modest family intervention has now become a global phenomenon.”

Founder & Executive Director

This is not just our story. It's the story of every child who refused to stay invisible, every parent who kept believing, and every community that opened its doors.

Our Values

What We Stand For

These aren't platitudes on a wall. These are the commitments we revisit in every decision, every programme, every conversation. When we fail to live up to them, we own it — and we do better.

Dignity First

Dignity First

We don't save people. We walk alongside them. Every child, every parent, every community member is treated with the dignity they deserve not as charity cases, but as partners.

01
Radical Transparency

Radical Transparency

Our books are open. Our failures are public. Our learnings are shared. Trust isn't assumed it's earned through honesty, especially when things go wrong.

02
Community-Led

Community-Led

The communities we serve know their needs better than we ever will. We don't design programmes in boardrooms we co-create them with the people who will live them.

03
Child Protection

Child Protection

The safety and wellbeing of every child in our programmes is non-negotiable. We have zero tolerance for abuse, exploitation, or neglect and systems to back that up.

04
Innovation & Learning

Innovation & Learning

What worked yesterday might not work tomorrow. We experiment, we adapt, we pivot. Programmes evolve based on evidence not ego.

05
Collaboration Over Competition

Collaboration Over Competition

We partner with other NGOs, governments, businesses anyone serious about solving these problems. There's no room for turf wars when children's futures are on the line.

06
Impact Over Optics

Impact Over Optics

We measure success by changed lives, not press releases. The question isn't 'does this look good?' it's 'does this work?'

07
Long-Term Commitment

Long-Term Commitment

We're not here for quick wins and photo ops. Real change takes years. We stay until the work is done and sometimes long after.

08
Our Team

The People Behind The Work

We're a small team carrying big dreams. Some of us came from the communities we serve. Some of us found this work later. All of us believe children deserve better.
