Nutrition & Welfare
Daily meals for children in our programmes. Because an empty stomach cannot hold a full mind. It's simple if a child is hungry, learning becomes impossible. So we feed them first.
What We're Solving
Many children in underserved communities come to school without eating. They sit through lessons distracted by hunger. Teachers report students falling asleep, unable to concentrate, or skipping school entirely because there's no food at home. Learning becomes secondary to survival.
How We Respond
We run community kitchens that provide nutritious meals to children in our education and scholarship programmes. Meals are served at school or our centres rice, beans, vegetables, protein. Nothing fancy. Just consistent, healthy food so children can focus on learning instead of hunger.
How It Works
Community cooks prepare meals daily using locally sourced ingredients.
Children enrolled in our programmes receive at least one meal per school day.
Meals are balanced (carbs, protein, vegetables) and culturally appropriate.
Parents of beneficiaries contribute when able even if it's just labour or firewood. Dignity matters.
